First you add the skills assessment categories as unpublished questions. Next after registration is complete you export that to Excel including the skills assessment categories. That gives you a spreadsheet with the name and scores to be filled in. Third you hold the skills assessment and fill in the spreadsheet with the scores (must be a number). Fourth you “import” the assessment rankings back into Rainier. Then you are ready to use the Team Builder to conduct your draft. First you build out the number of teams by telling the Auto Builder how many teams you want. Typically coaches are allowed to pre-draft one player, usually their own kid, so you first move all the coaches onto the teams. Typically you sort the available players by ranking (highest to lowest) and just draft them until all players are assigned. The draft occurs in real time so when you’re done all the rosters are ready to be published to the Team Pages and emailed out. I’m giving a webinar tomorrow to demonstrate it. The only people who can see the information must be placed on the team by you then login with a user name and password. This keeps kid information absolutely private. Team Pages are free for Rainier clients. If you allow team sponsorship the sponsor is listed on the team page with a link to their website. If you sell advertising on your site then it will also appear on the Team Pages. Unlike eteamz you own all your data so Rainier can’t and won’t sell it to anyone. Similarly Rainier cannot and will not spam your people.
